CHICAGO – miha bodytec USA announced today that has entered into an exclusive partnership with the PGA Magazine's professional network to broaden the reach of its Whole-Body Electro Muscle Stimulation (WB-EMS) strength training that is proven to help golfers improve their game.

As the exclusive WB-EMS equipment partner, miha bodytec will demonstrate the effectiveness of WB-EMS training to the affiliated Golf Fitness Association of America, which the publishers of PGA Magazine created in 2020 to cater to a growing market for fitness, health, and wellness professionals. Whole-body EMS training sessions before or after rounds of golf proved to be beneficial as a warmup protocol as well as helped players of all levels develop symmetrical strength and stability and increase swing speed and shot distance. miha bodytec is a scientifically proven whole-body training solution and is FDA cleared for exercise, prescriptive and non-prescriptive medical use and for sports rehabilitation.

The first event that brings together PGA's golf and fitness professionals with representatives of miha bodytec USA will be held July 31st at St. Johns Golf & Country Club in St. Augustine, Fla.

"We are delighted to enter into this partnership with PGA Magazine and the Golf Fitness Association of America," said Brian Dillman, Chief Executive Officer of miha bodytec USA. "We understand the challenges of coaching and fitness in the golf industry today and are excited to have the opportunity to broadly demonstrate the effectiveness of our proven, time-efficient, whole-body EMS training to these distinguished groups."

"We are thrilled to enter into a multi-year partnership with miha bodytec USA, the leading electro muscle stimulation training system," said Brian Folino, President of PGA Magazine and Golf Fitness Association of America, which will manage the partnership with miha bodytec USA. "As golf and its players focus more on health and wellness, we are excited to have miha bodytec USA engaged across the many different PGA Magazine and Golf Fitness Association of America platforms, which will include experiential opportunities throughout the U.S. for both PGA Professionals and Fitness Professionals, enhancing their opportunity for evaluating the benefits of this training regimen across the entire golf industry."

Full-service country clubs already see the benefits of WB-EMS training. Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Fla., for example, recently incorporated the miha bodytec II as a new fitness offering. Luis Bracamonte, Ocean Reef's Director of Fitness and Wellness, sees commercial WB-EMS training devices as a way to meet the needs of members "looking at technology and other aspects of fitness that are new and exciting."

Miha bodytec has done extensive trials with players and coaches, including Titleist Performance Institute teaching professionals, who saw immediate success on the golf course after WB-EMS training. Golfers found that a weekly, 20-minute session using the miha bodytec WB-EMS trainer can substantially:

At the highest levels, EMS training can help increase ball speed and overall performance, while amateurs see the training system as an efficient way to prevent injury, stay in shape, and train during the offseason.

WB-EMS works by sending impulses to muscles via electrodes placed on eight major muscle groups. The impulses target and activate all major muscle groups simultaneously, so the user is engaging more of the body's muscles than with traditional workouts. At the same time, WB-EMS prompts a more complete muscle contraction, activating more fibers inside each muscle (98% vs. 60%), which creates a greater number of muscle contractions. A WB-EMS training session lasts no more than 20 minutes but delivers the same benefits as two and half hours of conventional strength training, with far less impact on the joints.
